Aalim School of Dance and the Al-Bahira dancers present Annual Holiday Show & Hafla

Join us for an evening of glittering, jingling, and giving thanks as we kick off the holiday season with dance, music, food and fun, fun! Catch some of your favorite performers showcasing their works under the Featuring:
Doors open at 6:30, show begins at 7 p.m. Admission: $10

Would you like to perform? Performers of all styles, including student groups from other schools, are welcome and encouraged to join us. And you don't have to be strictly a belly dancer--musicians, dancers from other disciplines, fusion dancers, and performers with experimental belly dance works are welcome and encouraged! Spots for this show are expected to fill quickly, so contact Mirah soon. Interested in performing? Contact Mirah at mirah@mirahammal.com by November 11 for additional information and to be added to the performers list. In your email, provide: * Your real name (and the names of any other people in your act, if applicable.) * Performance name or name of your act (if different). * Length of your piece (5 min. or less is always fine. Between 5 and 8 min may be ok, but consult with Mirah first, for matters of overall show balance and run time.) * Name of the piece of music (if known). * Choreography credits (if applicable). * A very short description of what you plan to do and any props you will use or leave onstage (I know some of you will want to surprise the audience, but the show organizer does actually need to know what you plan to do to set the order of the show for flow and to ensure technical needs at the theater are met.) * A phone number where we can reach if there are questions or issues.
