Al-Bahira Dance Theater's Calendar of Events Al-Bahira Dance Theater and company dancers perform for special events, parties, festivals, and cultural presentations throughout Minnesota and the region. Al-Bahira and it's educational partner, the Aalim School, also sponsor events for dancers and the general public. Sunday November 23 Al-Bahira Middle Eastern Dance Theater and Aalim School of Dance host Holiday Hafla and Show Performance, Dance Party, and Reception Featuring performances by students, hobbyists and professionals. What could be more fun on a crisp autumn evening than to get a jump on the harvest season and Halloween an evening of fun, food, and of course, dance! Y
Saturday December 6 Al-Bahira Middle Eastern Dance Theater presents Festival in the Souk Dancer Swapmeet and Social!
A fun afternoont--complete with good food, good coffee and activities--where you can shop, sell, and trade in costumes and merchandise for belly dance from professional cabaret, to tribal, to folkloric to student goodies!
